Library
Vijaya College Library was established in the year 1991. The library is a treasure trove with over 40,000 books. The collection of books, journals, magazines and newspapers satisfy the intellectual hunger of the students and staff. Text books, reference books, books for students preparing for competitive exams, IELTS, TOEFL, personality development, dictionaries for various subjects, Encyclopedia Britannica, fiction, non-fiction are some of the plethora of books available in the library. The library subscribes to subject specific to general magazines. It also subscribes to 15 newspapers.

Vijaya College, Jayanagar, erstwhile BHS First Grade College took its genesis in July 1989 under the BHS Managing Committee's(now BHS Higher Education Society) holistic awning. What ideated in 1988 germinated and took form in 1989 as BHS First Grade College.
The college motto 'Excellence in education' shines bright with the students' achievements in academics and extracurricular activities. With a humble inception, brick by brick the institution set out to add value to education and purpose to the courses offered. The college offers about 12 courses in the three faculties- Humanities, Commerce and Management and Science.
