About the course
The Department of Electronics offers two undergraduate B.Sc. programs with Electronics – EMCs (Electronics, Mathematics, Computer Science) and PME (Physics, Mathematics, Electronics).This course is open to students who had opted for any science combination (PCMB/PCMCs/PCME) in 12th std/ PUC. The first semester students are introduced to the basic fundamentals of the subject. For effective teaching/learning, modern teaching aids like LCD projector and computer systems are used, more than 80% of the students have scored above 90 percent in Electronics and more than 95% of the pass result is obtained for the last five years consecutively. The students will be involved in Practice projects during their First and Second year and in Final year they will be doing their project on Embedded System. Industrial visits, Guest Lectures and Seminars by Eminent Personalities of various fields are arranged every year for the benefit of students. We also encourage and train the students for various Inter collegiate competitions in Electronics. In today’s world, the subject, Electronics is a booming sector; also as an applied science, it is our endeavor to apprise and equip students about this dynamic field of Electronics.
